The Netflix original, "All Hail King Julien" debuted December 19th, 2014. Part of the promotional material leading up to the show's release were daily posts on social media outlets.
For some of these, we did fun edits to the show's assets - like creating an 'oil painting' effect, and painting over that to further push the look.
For others, we would do subtle things, like change character expressions, blending poses, etc. to sell the storytelling of an image.
I also had the great fortune to work with incredibly talented people who wrote good, fun copy. It made the feel of each post unique to the show, and provided a strong springboard for where the design would go.
Promotional material even extended past the release date, meaning there was an added depth to later designs.
And, being a family-oriented show, there were opportunities to promote King Julien using activities the whole family could enjoy! I had a lot of fun on this one, since I had involvement in the design *and* writing copy.
